Product Overview
UL 1015 hook-up wire features a single bare or tinned copper conductor with durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, engineered for internal wiring of appliances, control panels, and electronic equipment. Rated for 600V AC and 750V DC, this wire supports continuous operation at 105°C and offers oil resistance up to 80°C. The robust PVC insulation provides excellent electrical performance, mechanical durability, and strong resistance to corrosion, moisture, and environmental stress. UL 1015 wire is suitable for both AC and DC wiring in demanding indoor and outdoor environments, with a relatively stiff construction due to its thicker insulation. Many versions carry dual UL ratings, including UL 1230, UL 1032, and MTW, ensuring compliance with a wide range of industry standards for reliable and safe electrical installations.
