Type P unarmored VFD cable combines flexible tinned copper power conductors with cross-linked polyolefin (XLPO) insulation and a shielded construction for variable frequency motor-drive connections. The 2kV family serves compatible marine, offshore and industrial drive systems where the complete cable design matches the equipment specification. The unarmored design supports installations where armor is not specified. Grounding arrangement, shield termination and motor lead length are important to controlling switching noise. Jacket properties, temperature class and project approvals follow the supplied construction and its installation requirements.
