Unarmored MV Cable

Type P medium voltage flexible armored and sheathed power cable is engineered for demanding marine and offshore environments, delivering reliable performance at 5kV, 8kV, and 15kV with 100% and 133% insulation levels. Constructed with flexible stranded tinned annealed copper conductors, ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulation, and a robust thermosetting Neoprene (Type N) jacket and sheath, this cable offers exceptional resistance to oil, abrasion, moisture, petrochemicals, and sunlight. The cable features both non-metallic (semi-conductive) and metallic (tinned copper wire braid) insulation shields, and a bronze wire braid armor per IEEE 1580 for superior mechanical protection. Rated for 90°C continuous operation, it meets cold bend and impact requirements (-40°C/-35°C) and is flame retardant to IEEE 1202 VW-1 and IEC 60332-3 Cat. A standards.
