Product Overview
Type P marine power cable is engineered for the demanding environments of offshore drilling rigs and petroleum facilities worldwide. Featuring high strand count, soft annealed flexible stranded tinned copper conductors per IEEE 1580 Table 11, this cable delivers exceptional flexibility, vibration resistance, and ease of installation—outperforming Type MC, IEC spec, or commercial cables. The flame-retardant, cross-linked polyolefin insulation and arctic grade thermosetting jacket provide superior resistance to oil, abrasion, chemicals, sunlight, and severe cold (exceeds CSA cold bend/cold impact at -40/-35°C). Rated for 2000V (IEC 1000V), this cable offers a lower dielectric constant and higher insulation resistance to reduce electrical losses and ensure stable electrical properties throughout its service life.
