Copper LLDPE Covered Line Wire - Stranded
Copper covered line wire combines a stranded copper conductor with an LLDPE covering for specified overhead utility and transformer connections. The covering helps reduce faults associated with weather, vibration and incidental crossing of leads. It is a protective covering rather than an electrical insulation system, so the conductor must be treated as uninsulated when establishing clearances and working practices. A range of AWG and kcmil sizes supports different distribution requirements, with the conductor construction and covering thickness selected to match the utility specification. This selection uses stranded conductors.
