Type KX thermocouple extension cable provides 1 pair for temperature-measurement circuits that specify the matching extension alloy. This solid-conductor build uses XLPE insulation, an overall shield and a yellow PVC jacket. General-purpose copper wire is not a substitute for the specified thermocouple alloy pair.
