FOUNDATION Fieldbus Type A 18 AWG Shielded Cable
Type A fieldbus cable connects process-control instruments through one 18 AWG stranded tinned copper pair with nominal 100-ohm impedance. Polypropylene insulation, an overall foil shield with drain wire and a PVC jacket support industrial communication in demanding environments. Rated 300V as CM/PLTC-ER and 150V as ITC-ER, the cable operates from -40°C to 105°C. Orange identifies the fieldbus version; light blue identifies the version intended for intrinsically safe PROFIBUS PA circuits, with complete system suitability determined by the project design.
